Abstract Submission Instructions

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE!

Abstracts must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the following day. August 20, 2025 (GMT-5)

General Requirements

  • Each submitted abstract must be presented individually. An author may submit several abstracts, as long as they are submitted separately.
  • The language of the abstract presentation can be English, Spanish or Portuguese.
  • At the time of abstract submission, the author may choose whether he/she wishes his/her work to be evaluated for poster or oral presentation; however, the scientific committee will communicate the accepted presentation modality.
  • Please do not send abstracts of projects, proposals, literature reviews or papers previously presented at other scientific events; these will not be considered for evaluation.
  • It is suggested that each paper submitted for evaluation be reviewed for wording and style prior to submission.
  • You will receive an email with the acceptance decision within 3 to 4 weeks after the submission deadline. Please check your spam folder.

Summary Structure

  • Each summary must contain between 200 and 300 words (excluding title, authors or keywords).
  • The structure of the abstract should include 5 sections: Introduction, objective, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
  • The abstract should not include bibliographic references, images or tables.
  • Up to 5 keywords must be added in the space provided.
  • Once the work has been submitted, no modifications may be made.

Evaluation of Submitted Abstracts

Abstracts submitted will be evaluated by reviewers assigned by the Scientific Committee, who may classify them as approved, approved with modifications or rejected.

The evaluation criteria will be:

  • Relevance and impact of the work presented
  • Originality
  • Scientific rigor
  • Clarity of objectives, materials and methods, and results.
  • Writing style (spelling, grammar, syntax)
  • Compliance with the requested structure

The scientific committee reserves the right to exclude from the evaluation those papers that do not comply with the above instructions.

Certificates for Presenters

A certificate of presentation will be issued only to the author registered for the conference who presents the paper in oral or poster format. The certificate will be issued electronically within 30 days after the end of the event.
